Hyderabad - Nara Chandrababu Naidu, who led the Telugu Desam Party (TDP)-Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-Janasena alliance to a resounding victory in the Andhra Pradesh assembly elections, will be sworn in as the state's chief minister on Wednesday, June 12. The grand ceremony, set to take place around 11:27 am at the Kesarapalli IT Park near Gannavaram Airport on the outskirts of Vijayawada, promises to be a star-studded event.

Celebrities Likely to Attend

According to reports, several prominent actors from the South Indian film industry are expected to grace the occasion. Megastars Chiranjeevi, his son Ram Charan, and Allu Arjun are likely to attend the oath-taking ceremony. Notably, Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan, who is eyeing the deputy chief minister's post, is Chiranjeevi's younger brother, making Ram Charan and Allu Arjun his nephews.

Other Anticipated Guests

Media reports also suggest that other renowned personalities, such as Rajinikanth, his wife, and actor Mohan Babu, may be present at the event. Jr NTR, Chandrababu Naidu's nephew and a celebrated actor, has also been invited to attend the mega ceremony.

Political Heavyweights in Attendance

In addition to the celebrity guests, Chandrababu Naidu's NDA allies, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP President JP Nadda, are expected to attend the swearing-in ceremony. Several chief ministers from other states, such as Bihar's Nitish Kumar, Rajasthan's Bhajan Lal Sharma, Uttarakhand's Pushkar Singh Dhami, and Maharashtra's Eknath Shinde, are also likely to be present.

Invitations Extended to Diverse Groups

The TDP has extended invitations to farmers who gave their land for the construction of the Amaravati capital project, as well as to some individuals who were allegedly harassed during the previous YSR Congress regime, reported news agency PTI.

Election Results

The NDA alliance, comprising the TDP, BJP, and Janasena party, achieved a landslide victory in the recently concluded simultaneous Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh. In the assembly election, the alliance won 164 out of 175 seats, with the TDP securing 135 seats, Janasena winning 21 seats, and the BJP obtaining eight seats. Meanwhile, in the Lok Sabha election, the NDA alliance claimed victory in 21 out of the 35 seats.
