Aurangabad - In the early hours of today, a devastating fire erupted in a tailoring shop in Maharashtra's Aurangabad (Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar) , leading to the tragic loss of seven lives. The incident, began around 4 am, caused widespread alarm among the local residents. The fire claimed the lives of three women, two men, and two children.
Firefighting teams were dispatched promptly and succeeded in dousing the fire. However, despite their efforts, seven individuals had already perished.
The Police Commissioner of Sambhaji Nagar, Manoj Lohiya, reported that the blaze originated in the Alam Tailors shop. Although the fire did not directly affect the residential areas above the shop, it is believed that smoke inhalation may have been the cause of death for the victims.
Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire, and autopsies for the deceased have been scheduled.
