New Dehli: In the dynamic landscape of Indian politics, Jamal Siddiqui stands out as a prominent figure. As the National President of the BJP Minority Morcha, Siddiqui has been at the forefront of integrating minority communities into the mainstream political discourse.
Born on January 1, 1972, into a middle-class Muslim OBC family, Siddiqui's upbringing was rooted in the values of education and social service. His father, a founder principal of a school, and his mother, a housewife, instilled in him the importance of community involvement from a young age.
Siddiqui's educational journey began in the Urdu medium Madrasa School of his village and continued through to King George Inter College (Osmania Inter College) Utraula, where he completed his intermediate education in 1988. His quest for knowledge led him to Nagpur, where he earned a B.E. (Civil Engineering) from Karmaveer Dadasaheb Kannamwar Engineering College (KDK) in 1994.
Post-graduation, Siddiqui embarked on a career as a civil contractor, which he pursued from 1994 to 1997. However, his passion for social service never waned, and this led him to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2007 under the mentorship of Shri Nitin Gadkari, the then State President of Maharashtra.
Siddiqui's political career is marked by a series of significant roles within the BJP. He served as the Secretary of the Samajwadi Party Maharashtra in 2007, Vice President of Nagpur City BJP, General Secretary of the BJP Minority Front Maharashtra, and Secretary of BJP Maharashtra. His leadership skills were further recognized when he was appointed President of the BJP Minority Front Maharashtra and later, the Maharashtra State Haj Committee, where he played a pivotal role in leading a delegation of 1,25,000 Hajjis from India to Saudi Arabia in 2018.
In October 2020, Siddiqui's dedication and hard work culminated in his election as the National President of the BJP Minority Morcha. His tenure has been characterized by efforts to connect minorities with the growth and development agenda of the BJP, guided by the principles of Integral Humanism and Antodaya.
Siddiqui's biography is not just a testament to his political acumen but also a reflection of his commitment to public service and the empowerment of minority communities in India.
