New Dehli: Two Delhi Police head constables have been caught on camera assaulting men who were offering namaz (Islamic prayer) in the Inderlok area on Friday morning. The disturbing video has gone viral, sparking outrage and prompting swift action from authorities.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Manoj Meena confirmed that legal action is being taken against the officers seen in the video. The police post in-charge of Inderpuri was also suspended with immediate effect.
The video shows the two officers kicking and slapping the men praying on the road. They can be heard shouting and ordering the men to leave the area.
