Bhusawal: A three-year-old boy died tragically after falling into a drain on Khadka Road in Bhusawal town at 8 pm on Sunday. The dead toddler's name is Ar Salan alias Babu Bihari. Due to this incident, citizens have expressed their anger on the administration of Bhusawal Municipality.
Arsalan came to Khadka Road with his father at 11 am on Sunday. In the afternoon he was playing outside a shop called Bilal Kandap Machine. At this place there is a 30 feet deep and six feet wide drain. Arsalan fell into the stream while playing.
After half an hour, Arsalan was nowhere to be found, so his father searched for him. Information about Arsalan's disappearance was spread on social media. But till late at night there was no trace of him.
When the footage of the CCTV camera in front of former corporator Ashiq Khan's shop was checked, it was seen that Arsalan fell into the drain while playing. However, the child died after getting stuck in the silt of the drain when the footage appeared to be checked. Some citizens descended into the 30-foot drain with a ladder and pulled out the body of the child around 8:30 pm.
Due to this incident, citizens are expressing intense anger. Citizens have criticized the poor management of Bhusawal Municipality. Citizens have alleged that such incidents are happening due to lack of proper safety cover on the drain.
CITIZENS' DEMANDS:
- Safety cover should be erected immediately on the drain.
- Concrete measures should be taken to prevent such incidents from happening in the future.
- Strict action should be taken against the officials concerned.

- The municipality should immediately help the family of the dead child.
- Necessary measures should be taken after checking all the drains in the city.
- Public awareness campaign should be conducted to create security awareness among the citizens.
