Buldhana,15 Dec- AIMIM Buldhana District has submitted a memorandum to the Director General of Police, Mumbai on December 15, 2023, through the Honorable Collector Buldhana and District Superintendent of Police, Buldhana. In which appropriate action has been demanded against BJP MLA Nitesh Rane.
According to the memorandum, an interview of MLA Nitish Rane was broadcast on Saam TV on December 4 and 5, 2023. In the said interview, BJP MLA Nitish Rane, while speaking about minorities and especially the Muslim community, tried to attack the constitutional right of Muslims. Regarding all Muslim communities who have faith in the Indian Constitution and talked about ending their rights of protest.
The High Court has given formal recognition to the reservation of Muslim community in 2014, but due to non-implementation of the state government, it has not been implemented, AIMIM has also made requests and movements from time to time to implement it. Nitish Rane said that if the entire Muslim community takes to the streets to protest as per their constitutional right, then they will not be allowed to go back. In this way, the entire Muslim community has been threatened.
This has created an atmosphere of fear and terror in the Muslim community. Since a ruling MLA is openly threatening to commit a serious act of depriving the minority community of their constitutional rights, appropriate action should be taken against Nitish Rane. In future, the possibility of law and order deteriorating due to wrong statements regarding Muslim reservation cannot be ruled out. Considering the seriousness of the said interview, appropriate action should be taken and a case should be registered. Buldhana AIMIM has made such a demand.
