Jaipur-Mumbai Train Killings: RPF Constable Allegedly Coerced Woman in Burqa to Proclaim ‘Jai Mata Di’ at Gunpoint, Investigation Reveals

Mumbai: In a shocking revelation, the investigation into the Jaipur-Mumbai Central Superfast Express killings on July 31 has unveiled distressing details. Railway Protection Force (RPF) Constable Chetan Sinh Chaudhary, the prime suspect in the case, is now accused of forcing a burqa-clad woman passenger to utter the phrase "Jai Mata Di" at gunpoint during the ordeal.

The Government Railway Police (GRP), Borivali, leading the investigation, has identified the woman and obtained her statement, designating her as a crucial witness. Video footage from CCTV cameras within the train has captured the entire unsettling incident.

Chaudhary, currently under judicial custody for the alleged murder of his senior, Assistant Sub-Inspector Tikaram Meena, and three passengers, including Abdul Kadar Mohamed Hussain Bhanpurawala, Syed Saifuddin, and Asgar Abbas Sheikh, is now facing additional allegations of misconduct. Meena was the initial victim, followed by the other passengers in different coaches.

As Chaudhary moved through the train's compartments, his focus reportedly shifted to the burqa-clad woman passenger in coach B-3. According to her statement, she was held at gunpoint and instructed to say "Jai Mata Di". Subsequently, she was told to say it more loudly. She managed to push the gun away and inquired about his identity, which led to a threat of violence from Chaudhary if she attempted to touch his weapon.

Disturbingly, video clips allegedly show Chaudhary making divisive remarks, suggesting his affiliation with certain political figures. His voice in these clips matched samples obtained from him. These revelations led to the addition of charges against Chaudhary under IPC Section 153A for promoting enmity between religious groups, as well as charges of murder, kidnapping, wrongful restraint, wrongful confinement, and relevant sections of the Arms Act and Railways Act.

The investigation continues to unravel more shocking details about the tragic incident on the Jaipur-Mumbai train, highlighting the need for thorough examination and justice.
