Inhumanity Shames Maharashtra! Dalit Youth Beaten to Death in Alleged Robbery Case, Body Dumped in Quarry
Jalna, Tamsil Shahezad Khan (National Editor): A heart-wrenching incident has come to light, tarnishing humanity in Maharashtra. A young Dalit man lost his life under shocking circumstances, accused of attempting to steal a two-wheeler. The perpetrators subjected him to brutal assault before leaving him unconscious in a quarry. The incident occurred in the Badnapur tehsil of Jalna district. Police have apprehended four suspects in connection with the case.
According to authorities, on Saturday evening around 6:30 PM, a group of individuals in Javaskheda village mercilessly beat Siddharth Ramdas Mandale (25), a Dalit youth, to death, allegedly accusing him of stealing their bike. The assailants brutally attacked him with wooden sticks after accusing him, resulting in his tragic demise. Following this, they callously discarded his body in a nearby quarry. On Sunday, four people were arrested in connection with the incident.
A police officer revealed that Ganesh Kailas Jadhav, Akash Ashok Jadhav, Tulshiram Gayakwad, and Kundalik Bhagwan Tirukhe, residents of Daregaon in the Jalna tehsil, were apprehended for their alleged involvement. They were accused of catching Siddharth Mandale in the act of attempting to steal a two-wheeler, after which they subjected him to a merciless beating and eventually dumped him in a quarry when he became unconscious.
Authorities have registered a case under section 302 (punishment for murder) of the Indian Penal Code and various sections of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act in connection with this incident. The police are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter. Kiranbai Siddharth Mandale, Siddharth's mother, has lodged a complaint at the police station in relation to the incident.
